CASE FILE VD-AN-004: VOID GLITCH

Plane of Association: Void

Zone of Origin: Glitch Maw (Corrupted Subsector)

Last Known Location: Security Mirror Loop 7B (recursive echo)

Containment Status: Fragmented (Annoyingly Mobile)

Known Behaviors

Void Glitch is a dual-headed anomaly composed of fractal distortion, misrendered joints, and recursive shadow stutters. Each head behaves independently: the left head is wide-eyed and constantly whispering warnings and self-doubt, while the right head is smug, chaotic, and deeply invested in being a nuisance. Together, they shift through glitch corridors, activate emergency alarms for fun, and warp Bureau signage just enough to get people lost. Both heads speak over each other constantly. Both are equally hard to ignore.

Field Notes

  • — Subject reprogrammed three hallway signs to point in circles, then told the agent she “was doing great.”
  • — Left head screamed “WE’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE” while the right head giggled and locked the door behind it.
  • — “They swapped my access badge with a toaster instruction manual. When did they even—?!” — Agent Rev, Post-Incident Debrief 12g
Two-headed glitch anomaly, one panicked and one grinning, both flickering with corrupted geometry.
